AirMap’s airspace automation technology delivers a common, real-time operational picture of low-altitude airspace to all stakeholders. With digital services for situational awareness, airspace authorization, remote identification, flight tracking, and deconfliction, AirMap keeps the drone ecosystem and the general public safe and protected.

Flight Automation

AirMap’s flight automation technology enables enterprise operators to integrate drones into their operations. Automated services, including job scheduling, route planning, autonomous flight and asset capture, and airspace compliance, are integrated into our flight applications and available through our APIs and SDKs.

Dataflow Automation

AirMap’s dataflow engine automates the entire life cycle of drone sensor data. It leverages intelligent cloud infrastructure and AI to produce actionable business intelligence. Our open, enterprise-grade dataflow engine is accessible via open APIs, enabling flexible integrations with any data processing, analytics, or drone application software partner.

Airspace Digital Twin

Our automation platform is powered by the AirMap, an accurate, reliable, and comprehensive digital twin of low-altitude airspace. It is comprised of detailed airspace geometries, restrictions, NOTAMs, terrain, ground infrastructure, and population density information. Our team analyzes global airspace regulations and integrates them into the AirMap, adding relevant context to the airspace data. Our global traffic engine publishes live manned and unmanned traffic movements to the AirMap. The result: a comprehensive digital twin that offers powerful low-altitude situational awareness to all airspace stakeholders.

AirMap participates in international standards development work, including ASTM Remote ID, InterUSS, and NASA UTM. AirMap’s work has been published as part of the Swiss U-space ConOps and national U-space best practices.
